“Anhad” translates to “borderless” in English. We aim to transgress and transcend borders in our exploration of Sindhi communities and identities.
Objectives:
- develop an intergroup dialogue based curriculum alongside a film drawing from oral histories that encourages youth and young adults to re-evaluate binary constructs of identity,
- engage youth and young adults to critically analyze the impacts of historically disruptive moments and memories on their contemporary lives, and
- extend the relevance of re-examining historical conflict that affected the Sindhi communities to the lives and relationships of other ethnic and religious groups.
